Microsoft Web Apps give clients access to Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc via the internet without having to install on a computer. As part of a yearly subscription, clients also have the option of downloading and installing the latest version of Microsoft Office on business computers.

Mini Server VPS Hosting

Physical Servers, also known as Dedicated Servers, are standalone servers where the server resources are not shared with other users on the server or on a network of servers.

Mini Servers (VPS) are physcial servers that are split into containers which allow users to install different operating systems and software etc. in a container. Each container is private so other users do not have access to other containers but users do share resources such as RAM, Bandwidth, Disk Space.

In terms of resources and cost Mini Servers sit in the middle between Shared Web Hosting and Physical/Dedicated servers. With Mini Server VPS the cost of the physical server is being shared by the users on the server. Each user can install their preferred operating system and software to run Websites much the same as a physical/dedicated machine but without the higher cost.

Using a Mini Server VPS instead of a physical/dedicated machine where possible will reduce costs. However the decision to use a Mini Server VPS instead of a physical/dedicated server will depend on the resources required to run the Website or application and whether the additional cost is warranted or not.

Premium Website Backup is a Website backup and restoration system. It also monitors Website files for changes and alerts site owners of file modifications. This provides peace of mind for site owners knowing site data is backed up daily and is safe. It can then be easily restored if mistakes happen or a site is hacked.

Files are compressed and stored on the robust Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) and are encrypted using industry-leading AES 256 bit techniques.

Premium Website Backup initially does a full site backup and after this only backs up site files that have changed since the previous backup. However it takes a full backup of databases everytime a backup runs.

Yes individaul files can be restored or a complete site can be restored if this is the preferred option.

Premium Website Backup alerts the account holder via email with details of what has changed anytime changes are made to the source code of site files. Any additions, modifications and deletions of site files can be viewed in the account dashboard

By default alerts for common files that are updated regularly such as Web site statistics, cache, logs, etc. are filtered out so only alerts that should be investigated are sent. However if preferred it is possible to disable common file filtering via the dashboard so alerts for modifications to all file types are sent.
