Firstly you must acquire your domains Domain Secret or Transfer Auth. code from your current registrar and unlock the domain. This can usually be done via an online account provided by your current provcder to manage your domains. If this is not available then you will need to contact your provider and ask them to supply you with the auth code and unlock the domain. When you have the auth code submit your transfer request following the instructions and inputting the required details to begin the transfer request.
Upon completion of the transfer request the admin contact of the domain will receive an email from their current registrar requesting authorisation for the transfer. The admin contact should follow the instructions in this email to authorise the transfer so the transfer can proceed.
After the admin contact has authorised the transfer the domain name should transfer into your account with us within 5 working days.
If you are unsure of the admin contact email address for your domain name click here to access the Whois page and enter your domain name to view it’s contact details
Please note as per the 2013 Registrar Accreditation Agreement, domain owners must verify their contact details within 15 days of transferring, registering or updating the registrant contact details of a domain or the domain will suspend (does not apply to .ie domains). Click here for details.
